Colour
Blue is the only brand colour. Green, amber and red mean one thing each and are never used for decoration, so a colour on this platform always carries information.

Rules that do not bend
Buttons
Buttons say the action. Never "Click here to". One primary action per screen, and on the driver app it is the tallest thing on the page.
Status
Seven states, matching the seven the database allows. No screen may invent an eighth.

Calm, short, and it says what to do next. No error codes unless the person has to act on one.
Empty state
Four words, not a paragraph.
Customer, request a delivery
about 12 min
By confirming you agree the item is not on the prohibited list.
The price is broken down before they confirm, including why a minimum charge kicked in. Surprise on a delivery fee is the number one complaint in this whole sector.
Customer, tracking

"Updated 40 seconds ago" is deliberate. A web app cannot track a locked phone, so the map says how fresh it is instead of pretending to be live. An honest timestamp causes far fewer complaints than a frozen marker.
Driver, a job offer
Austin
Austin
Pay first, at the top, in green. That is the only thing a driver decides on. The customer's phone number and notes are not on this screen, because they have not accepted it yet.
Driver, job in progress
The waiting rule appears on screen with a real time, not buried in a policy page. A driver who knows exactly when they can leave does not phone 7GO to ask.

Live orders
| Order | Status | Partner | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7GO-DSC5QV | On the way | Ben S. | $10.00 |
| 7GO-K7M2PX | Waiting 11 min | Unassigned | $14.50 |
| 7GO-FEXKVB | Delivered | Ben S. | $16.00 |
| 7GO-QW93RT | Failed | Mia L. | $9.00 |
A job nobody has accepted shows how long it has been waiting, right in the status. That is the number that costs 7GO customers, so it is the one on screen.
